Senior Research Associate, Insights, EAB Seramount

The Senior Associate will be a key member of the Insights Research team assisting with in-depth requests from our Diversity Best Practices members and writing helpful guides and Insights papers on relevant and critical DEI issues for our DBP and Seramount.com audience . We seek a teammate with excellent analytical skills, ambition, relationship building skills and professionalism. This role combines project management with strong research and writing skills and the opportunity to do high-impact work.
This hire may be based in Washington, D.C. or Richmond, VA; this position is also open to remote employment within in the continental U.S.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create and provide research and content for Diversity Best Practice members that helps drive change and improvements in their organizations
Help conduct research (e.g. literature reviews, data/research, client interviews) to provide best practice tools and resources that help our members achieve their DEI objectives
Serve as support and resource for other Seramount teams
Work as part of our Insights team on major research projects and assist in data-gathering from our surveys
Conduct research, write, and produce content for member requests, guides (short topical resource) and in-depth Insights papers in support of the Diversity Best Practices’ mission of providing our members with thought leadership, tools and resources in the diversity and inclusion field.
Manage research requests/library by writing content, researching publications and events and uploading content.
Support the development of tools, resources and solutions to address key challenges, themes and trends
Develop and execute member polls including development, administration, analysis and reporting.
Assist with managing member benefit tracking process for research requests
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, with an excellent academic record and 2+ years of post-graduate, professional experience OR a Master’s/PhD degree and 1+ years of post-graduate professional experience
Strong written communication and excellent story-telling skills
Demonstrated experience executing projects and analyses based on larger datasets
Strong time-management skills for a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and then translate and disseminate complex information appropriate for various audiences
Broad business acumen and proficient with PowerPoint and Excel
Able to collaborate in a team environment, while taking ownership and lead on major projects
Comfortable working with clients and cross-functional teams
Extremely organized and passionate about details.

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $51,500 - $75,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
