Lead Data ScientistCaremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in New York, NY: Lead Data Scientist to formulate and apply mathematical and computational modeling methods towards data extraction and manipulation. Duties include: perform analyses of varied healthcare data to evaluate programs and product solutions using healthcare medical, pharmacy, lab, survey, and utilization data; design and code efficiently using SQL and Python-based programming; extract data from multiple sources and create integrated analytics datasets, create ports and studies to address business and research questions; develop and/or use algorithms and statisticalpredictive models to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes; execute univariate and multivariate statistical analyses and interpret results in the context of the business program or question; conduct periodic updates of analytical routines an department production systems; perform analysis of stricter and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses and broad knowledge of the organization; develop and participate in presentation and consultations to existing and prospective constituents on analytics results and solutions; and anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur. Also requires two (2) years of experience with each of the following: AWS or GCP cloud technologies; machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling; programming in R, Spark, or Python; visualization tools, including PowerBI or Tableau; statistical analysis for healthcare industry products, products, or systems; and Docker, Kubernates, JIRA, and Confluence.
