Primary Purpose

: The primary purpose of this position isClinic nurse for Child Health clinic

Essential Functions

: This position will assist providers in the Child Health clinic with duties including but not limited to:

- Checking vital signs - Delivery of respiratory therapy treatment via a pulmonaide machine - Changing dressings - Obtaining throat cultures - Administering medications - Position is responsible for recordingpertinent information in the patient's electronic record, maintaining and ordering supplies as needed, assisting with immunizations and continuity of care as needed - Attending appropriate training

Minimum Education and Experience

: - Graduation from a state accredited program of practical nurse education and one year of practical nurse experience, which includes advanced or in-service training in the areas to which assigned; or - Graduation from a state accredited program of practical nurse education including a pharmacology course, or completion of an approved pharmacology course upon graduation, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for the administration of medications required by the work setting; or - An equivalent combination of education and experience

: - Other duties as assigned by management - In times of disaster, may be required to assist as needed
