Our goal: 10x impact on the world’s most intractable problems, not just 10% improvement. We approach projects that have the aspiration and riskiness of research with the speed and ambition of a startup.

About the Team:

We are a team of engineers, scientists, and designers dedicated to transforming the real estate development and construction process, and unlocking a revolution between how we understand the relationship between the built and natural world. We’re pioneering the development of foundational AI technology aimed at revolutionizing traditional real estate development and construction practices.

Our focus lies in leveraging cutting-edge AI solutions to address complex challenges encountered throughout the real estate development pipeline, driving innovation and efficiency in the industry.

About the role:

  • Work closely with product teams to ensure scalable, performant implementation and deployment of new technologies

  • Mentor and foster the growth of other engineers and scientists

  • Contribute to developing a strong research culture in an early-stage team, balancing fundamental research with applied exploration for real-world impact.

What you should have:

  • PhD in computer science, math, physics, or another relevant field.

  • Proven experience in deep learning research and development, including experience with architecture development, model training, fine-tuning, and evaluation in relevant domains.

  • A record of prior publication in academic conferences and journals in relevant areas.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, able to translate complex research into practical solutions for real-world challenges in the real estate domain.

  • Experience applying machine learning to real-world problems, preferably in the real estate, AEC, or GIS domain.

  • Software development proficiency

  • Strong communication skills, and a background working directly with domain experts to understand and translate their needs into research problems and solutions.

It’d be great if you also have these:

  • Experience in a research leadership role.
