IBM EMEA Partner Experience Marketer in Bucharest, Romania

OUR TEAM

Our Ecosystem marketers have a deep understanding of IBM business partners: how they sell, how they make money, and what their priority offerings are. A critical part of our Marketing & Communications organization, they drive partner-led demand programs to scale business growth for IBM's technology in line with our strategy based on Hybrid Cloud and AI.

They enable effectiveness and efficiency of motion and brand go-to-market, including services to increase business partners' skills, competitiveness, revenue and IBM footprint in their overall business.

The EMEA Partner Experience Marketer is aligned to all EMEA Geography, with a focus on Nordics and CEE (NCEE). He/She designs high-standard experiences to engage, enable and activate our business partners in their end-to-end buying journey and across all pillars of Partner Experience (events, feedback, communications, partner advocacy and success stories) and coordinates NCEE market event initiatives and works closely with the entire Ecosystem team.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Aligned to the EMEA and NCEE Marketing and Sales teams and priorities to support and coordinate across all Partner Experience pillars and Global initiatives.

  • Manage and execute planned events to engage with business partners in the Geo/Market

  • Create and activate Partner experiences across all touch points

  • Localize Global driven enablement strategy & plans based on NCEE need. Support EMEA & NCEE specific activities, with focus on marketing skills enhancement for NCEE partners

  • Drive amplification in market of GEO &/or WW-driven projects

  • Replicates best practices coming from other Geos/Markets to improve local Partners' engagement, proposes and executes new initiatives that can be further replicated across Markets

  • Collaborates with current and potential partners, ecosystem colleagues and fellow marketers to learn, co-create and share feedback

This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times per week.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong business partners marketing fundamentals and previous experience in working with and for business partners.

  • Able to orchestrate partner enablement strategies which motivate business partners to collaborate with IBM and enable effective marketing and sales relationships)

  • Event management experience

  • Has experience working in digital, automation, customer experience, and/or customer service roles

  • Fluent in English

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

  • Strong networking, negotiation and influencing skills with marketing and sales colleagues

  • Strong ability to adapt in new environments and drive continuous improvement

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Partner marketing experience in a B2B environment, having first-hand experience and a track record of successfully developing marketing strategy and programs

  • Experiments constantly, embracing a client-centric mindset to find new ways to satisfy Partner needs

  • Highly collaborative - able to represent ecosystem in meetings and discussions, building effective teaming relationships within ecosystem marketing and with other marketing and business areas

  • Is passionate about people: we value a focus on relationships over experience working in high tech or ecosystem

  • The best candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to stretch the role, constantly reimagining what it can deliver.

  • Understand evolving partner Ecosystem landscape, partner business models, how partners make money, how they create demand, and relationships between vendors and partners.
